Well “apparently” my site doesn’t impress her at all so far. I’m like “BUT THIS IS VALID XHTML 1.0 STRICT!!” By the sounds of it our websites are to be graded on appearence, HCI etc but NOT on the quality of coding. So some code monkey making broken html 4.01 could theoretically beat my site cos it’s slightly prettier despite my code being gorgeous, with all presentation divorced from content. *mumbles about a semantic web*

Hmph, seriously though they could pay some attention to w3.

I had an early bed last night, in bed for 2330, asleep for 0000 h). So i woke up at like five this morning and again at seven, both times though i’d go back to bed, i ended up getting up at like 0800 a full two hours before lessons! (more…)

Well apparently Coca-Cola’s expensive tap-water has been pulled from the shelves in the UK because it contains high levels of bromine. Couldn’t think of a nicer product for it to happen too (Y)

For the first time in like a week i get up this morning and decide to use my razor, and i’ve just done one side of my face when it starts to fade, so i quickly did the other side. You can probably tell tbh oh well. It’s just annoying how it waits till now when i can be bothered to shave to do it. Damn thing, it’s been on charge all day. (more…)

Ehhh (Cilla’s) Surprise Surprise

Had a knock on my bedroom today, shouted “yeah”. Thinking it’d be Olly or Meggs and who should walk through the door but Darren! He’d brought my bag back (that i forgot he had). Apparently his computer broke so he came back to Stafford to get it fixed and called in here in the mean time. So all sat in kitchen chatting a bit. Anyways he said he was off so i went to the toilet then to my room and lo and behold Rich came, Darren was still here too.

Anyway apparently Darren has a decent job now and they’re sponsoring him to go to Notts uni next year. He’s also living on his own in a place his mum owns.
