Well after i was woke up by the cleaner shouting at Meggs about his wok. I laid, listened and laughed a while. Then i jumped on the computer to check ebay and spoke to Tom. After a short while Meggs knocked on my door and told me Evv was coming down to pick us up so we could see Martin (my land lord in September), went up there and gave him my information and stuff. Sooo, Jay, Shelly, Kraig, me and some other random people were all walking along somewhere like the end of the ‘perry’. It’s quiet, there’s high fences, and you’re about to walk out into a big grassy field. But first you have to walk past a load of allotmants + fields. Calmly we open one of the gates on a field and start walking through, it’s then that we notice some farmer type guy tending his crops with Alan (from uni) just behind him talking to him. They’re heading towards us, but Kraig just walks jauntily past and says hi. Alan walks along side us and takes a puff of the cigar till we get to the end of the field. (more…)

The Grauniad has ran an extract about refugees in Britain…a hundred years ago. It’s taken from the book Bloody Foreigners . It’s quite funny to see the same comments being brought up in 1904 as 2004. Oh how far society has grown. Something that would probably kill most Sun readers is a quote from Winston Churchill saying that there was no good reason to abandon “the old tolerant and generous practice of free entry and asylum to which this country has so long adhered and from which it has so greatly gained”
Heh.
