Work Work Work

// July 23rd, 2004 // General

Uhm, woke up yesterday after like 3 hours of sleep or something…..started playing Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory again and I was kicking ass, so played like four hours more than I meant too. So after Jack shouted me up about 20 mins before I was due in work, I rushed around and got there. Normal ok day there really, was on the back with my mum for a bit…..and some old woman my mum knows pointed to me, and said to her husband, “that’s jackies husband there”. :| Crazy old people.

Anyway I left work at three, walked down home in the boiling sun, then realised I was locked out, so I walked back up in the boiling sun, got my mums keys and walked down again. Then got changed and rushed out to meet Tom, so I walked back up the hill to the bus stop. We sat and chatted for like an hour or so I think. Got a bit carried away with the pigeon watching too :D

Then I came back to Wingfield and walked up to the chippy. Marcus was in there so we stood and catched up for a while. Which was quite interesting, be good to be able to talk properly with him for a while probably. I came back and then went to sleep for a couple of hours (y), then I woke up and played some more W:ET (y).

Before I went to bed I watched Enemy at the Gate, it had such a promising start, but the film quickly got kinda meh. It was good to see once, and satisfied my curiosty, can’t see me watching it ever again though. The storyline just kinda didn’t appeal to me, the general idea did, but the way they did it didn’t.

Uhm, then laid in bed most today, hung around the house before work and bid on a laptop on ebay. Then I had a work and had a fun shift (y). Joanne and Lyndsay had the giggles I think and Sue was telling customers about Beryls “booze and other problems”. :D . Gemma asked if I was going out on Sunday, again, so I said yeah. Sue says I’m ‘escorting’ her now instead of Kraig, and Sara asked her to share me and she said no. Hmmm. Anyway, yeah Sunday should be fun.

I came home to realise I had no new DVDs to watch, and I’d lost the eBay auction.
