Here it is

// October 29th, 2004 // General

Well, been slightly busy this week. Had a PED presentation on Tuesday, which went pretty much fine, Nick got a little nervy. The only thing wrong with it was that we ran out of time, so Evv didn’t get to do his part, we were that worried about speeding through it all and being over quickly that we over compensated. Anyway, that night we all got pretty drunk, including, for the first time ever, Evv. Spent about an hour just drinking different spirits with various mixers, I think we were all pretty much tipsy by ten and drunk by eleven, if not sooner. Sara rang me up at one point and I spoke to her, about what I dunno. We ended up walking to Ali’s at like 2330 and got a value box, man I love value boxes. We got back from the walk down there, Meggs and Mini Meggs (who by the way has joined us for the week) went to bed after an hour or so, while Nick and I sat up till 5 discussing life, our childhoods and a million other things.

Wednesday morning we all rose around midday, spent ages sat around discussing the night before. We then quickly got prepared then went out and played football, we’ve made it a weekly thing – five-a-side indoor football. It was a good laugh, I was tired pretty quickly though, man my fitness sucks lately. I’m sure it’ll get better soon though, I’m trying to eat more fruit and less carbohydrates etc for dinner, plus playing football every week and the long walks to uni.

Hmm today I spent like three hours in the bar between lessons, drinking lattes, growing to quite like them now actually. Spent a while doing work too, then I got home to be greeted by a lack of chickens, I quickly got a little something to eat before going round to Aarons to get some work done. Then after a while working and chatting around there, I walked back in the rain. Came home to be greeted by a lack of Nick and Evv, so Meggs, Meggs Junior and I went down to Ali’s for a value box.

Came home to watch Question Time, it was based out of Miami, and while having some interesting guests (two people close with the past two presidents, Michael Moore, someone who was part of the american electoral review process, oh and a Sun columnist) I couldn’t help but feel annoyed at the show. I think it was the audience, they just wouldn’t shut up. Since then I just laid talking and texting.

Just had cross words with Sara, but it’s been glossed over, same issue as what’s come up before. We’re gonna have to have a serious talk this weekend to get past some things I think. She confuses me, she moans I don’t come back often enough, but then she says “you better do well at uni, else I’ll hold myself responsible”. I wish she’d just realise she can’t have both, I pretty much have to do some uni work over the weekend. Argh, I’m looking to this weekend with a mixture of excitement and trepidation.
